  • You’re welcome to explore Westchester Tower in whatever way works best for you. You can take a virtual tour on our website or give us a call to set up an in-person visit. Our team is always happy to show you around.

Application and Leasing

  • Applying to any of our apartments in College Park, MD is simply! Simply visit the Availability page on our website. Scroll through the options, choose the apartment that feels right for you, and click Apply Now to get started.

  • You can find the full list of required documents in our rental policy on the website.

  • Applicants must meet an income requirement of three times the monthly rent.

  • We offer multiple lease terms so you can choose what fits your plans. Reach out to our leasing team and we’d be happy to walk you through the available options.

  • Yes. We require all residents to maintain renter’s liability insurance with minimum coverage of $300,000. Full details are available in the rental policy.

  • You can easily renew through our resident portal. Renewal invitations are sent directly to residents when the time comes.

Move-In and Move-Out Support

  • Yes. Westchester Tower charges a non-refundable $25 application fee per applicant, a $300 non-refundable Administrative Fee, and an Security Deposit ranging from $500 to one month’s rent. For full details, please review our rental policy on the website.

  • Absolutely! Our leasing team is happy to recommend reliable local and national services to make your move easier.

  • You’re welcome to make the space feel like home. We simply ask that the apartment be returned in the same condition in which it was leased.

  • We understand that life happens. Lease breaks are allowed for a fee. Please connect with management to go over your options.

  • We expect residents to fulfill the full lease term. If you need to move out early, please reach out to management so we can guide you through the process.

  • While we’d love to have you stay, we’re here to help if you need to relocate. Simply notify management that you are declining the renewal offer, and we’ll assist you with the next steps, including recommending trusted moving services.

  • Security deposits are typically returned within 60 days after your lease ends. If it takes longer than expected, please reach out to management so we can look into it for you.

Fees and Payments

  • The security deposit is $500 to one month's rent and is due within 48 hours of approval. Applicants with an insufficient credit score may be approved with an additional deposit.

  • Residents are responsible for electric, gas, water and sewer, HVAC, and trash monthly. As well as, a one time utility set up fee for $25 and a monthly utility admin fee for $7.95 per month.

  • Rent can be paid easily and securely online through the Resident Portal.

Parking

  • Yes, we offer assigned parking space for $35/month or garage parking for $55/month per vehicle.

  • We do not currently offer EV charging stations.

Maintenance and Requests

  • All maintenance requests can be submitted and tracked easily through the Resident Portal.

  • We’re committed to your comfort and aim to resolve all maintenance requests as quickly as possible.

Pets

  • Yes, we do! Westchester Tower is a pet-friendly community, and we welcome both cats and dogs. Each apartment can have up to two pets.

  • Residents pay a $350 non-refundable pet fee per pet, a $45 DNA registration fee (if applicable), and a monthly pet rent of $50 per pet.

  • For everyone’s safety and comfort, certain breeds or mixes with predominant characteristics of these breeds are not permitted. These include Akita, Husky, Great Dane, Cane Corso, German Shepherd, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Mastiff, Malamute, Presa Canario, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Boxer, Wolf, Wolf-Dog Hybrid, and similar mixes.

    This policy does not apply to approved support animals under the Fair Housing Act or ADA. Service animals are fully exempt from breed restrictions and fees with valid documentation.

  • Your furry friends can enjoy our private dog park, peaceful landscaped grounds, and access to nearby trails for daily walks and outdoor play.

  • For safe and easy package pickup, we use Luxer Package Lockers. New residents will receive a registration prompt when they move in so they can get set up right away.

You’ll also find several public transportation options nearby. Our community is close to Greenbelt National Park for outdoor fun, and both Prince George’s Plaza Mall and Greenbelt Mall offer plenty of shopping and dining choices.
