Move-In and Move-Out Support

Yes. Westchester Tower charges a non-refundable $25 application fee per applicant, a $300 non-refundable Administrative Fee, and an Application Deposit ranging from $500 to one month’s rent. For full details, please review our rental policy on the website.

You’re welcome to make the space feel like home. We simply ask that the apartment be returned in the same condition in which it was leased.

While we’d love to have you stay, we’re here to help if you need to relocate. Simply notify management that you are declining the renewal offer, and we’ll assist you with the next steps, including recommending trusted moving services.

Security deposits are typically returned within 60 days after your lease ends. If it takes longer than expected, please reach out to management so we can look into it for you.
Fees and Payments

The security deposit is $500 to one month's rent and is due within 48 hours of approval. Applicants with an insufficient credit score may be approved with an additional deposit.

Pets

Yes, we do! Westchester Tower is a pet-friendly community, and we welcome both cats and dogs. Each apartment can have up to two pets.

Residents pay a $350 non-refundable pet fee per pet, a $45 DNA registration fee (if applicable), and a monthly pet rent of $50 per pet.

For everyone’s safety and comfort, certain breeds or mixes with predominant characteristics of these breeds are not permitted. These include Akita, Husky, Great Dane, Cane Corso, German Shepherd, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, Mastiff, Malamute, Presa Canario, Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Boxer, Wolf, Wolf-Dog Hybrid, and similar mixes.
This policy does not apply to approved support animals under the Fair Housing Act or ADA. Service animals are fully exempt from breed restrictions and fees with valid documentation.

Westchester Tower is in a convenient, well-connected part of College Park. We’re a quick 5 minutes from the University of Maryland and located on the University Shuttle Route. You’ll also find several public transportation options nearby. Our community is close to Greenbelt National Park for outdoor fun, and both Prince George’s Plaza Mall and Greenbelt Mall offer plenty of shopping and dining choices.
